Tasting Notes
The fruit is sourced from their own vineyard in Collio and from growers in neighbouring Colli Orientali and Grave regions. The fruit is picked early to maintain varietal freshness and keep the alcohol low. Bianco is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Friulano and 20% Riesling. The Chardonnay undergoes partial malolactic fermentation, adding body and richness; Friulano contributes pear, almond and zesty acidity; and Riesling lifts the aromatics and offers freshness on the palate. But, this is a wine that really is the sum of its parts, and together they highlight the textural notes typical of the region's multi-varietal white wines. - Importer Note
Enrico Coser, young gun winemaker from Ronco dei Tassi, created Clic to introduce a new generation to the delights of the grapes and wines of Friuli. The name Clic, in Friulan dialect, means 'a small glass of wine shared with friends' ‚– exactly what the range is designed for.
