The enrty-level wine from cult producer Comando G. From high-altitude granitic vineyards in the Sierra de Gredos, this Garnacha shows a lifted, perfumed nose of wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant, laced with rose petal, spice and a touch of crushed rock. The palate is bright and finely textured, with juicy red fruit framed by silky tannins and a savoury, mineral edge. Fresh, precise and elegant, it captures the finesse of mountain Garnacha with energy and charm. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
