Tasting Notes
A fresher and lighter style of Chardonnay from the Macon region in Burgundy. It hails from the legendary producer Comte Lafon and absolutely lives up to the reputation at a fraction of the price. Citrus, white stone fruit, flint. This should be a go-to wine every year. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
