Tasting Notes
Mostly Nerello Mascalese with some carricante and grecanico. Plunged twice a day for about three weeks in open top fermenters and then transferred to concrete for 12 months. Savour, spicy with citrus rind and volcanic ash. Sappy mouthfeel with dried rose petals and a lovely cooling texture that washes the palette. Tannins are yet to unfurl but a lovely bright acidity with a distinct orange oil on the finish. - Importer Note

The use of ultra low sulfur. It is not filtered nor clarified.
