Tasting Notes

A Cotes du Rhone that sings louder than any other in its price range. This is quite a mouthful! Dark fruits sit beneath the rocky minerality of this wine that makes it so alluring. Smell it, taste it, drink and enjoy it. I couldn't get enough of this wine that showed so many layers of complexity and flavour. Fantastic! - Chris L

I love savoury reds with pepper bites, so this one is for me - just need to find the food fit. I reckon avoid any sweet sauce. Go for barbecued beef with mushrooms etc. Daumen is dark fruited and dusty on the nose; then fresh and savoury in the mouth, with light chalky tannins on the tongue. 13.5% alc. Value! - Michael L
