Tasting Notes
After visiting the De Salis winery and spending some time in the cellar with Charlie I think I'm sold that they are one of the benchmark producers of wine in NSW. The De Salis Chardonnay shows why Chardonnay is really well suited to the Orange terroir. There is both leanness and flavour, intensity and elegance. Balance. Layers of fruit and tempered use of oak make it both enjoyable now and throughout the next ten years. Love it! - Chris L
