Tasting Notes
After visiting the De Salis winery and spending some time in the cellar with Charlie I think I'm sold that they are one of the benchmark producers of wine in NSW. The Mount Lofty Pinot Noir is their top cuvee as selected by winemaker Charlie in the cellar. It's a blend of the best barrels that compliment each other to make the best wine from the vintage. It's elegant and perfumed, like all De Salis Pinot Noir, but with added complexity and dimension, noteably in structure. A truely expressive and insightful wine. - Chris L
