What a beautiful Champagne from Delouvin Nowack. Super-dry (zero dosage) and super-fine in style with lovely persistence and oodles of acidity. The blend is made up of a majority of Chardonnay and a hint of Pinot Meunier for good measure. Devour this bottle with your favourite apertiser. - Chris L
The Delouvin and Nowack families have been associated with Champagne for generations as grape growers back when the large house controlled the market and also as coopers producing barrels for the large houses. In the 1930s they began to estate bottle their wines and over the ages the estate has passed through the hands of many family members.
It's latest incarnation is under the control of Geoffrey Delouvin who has modernised the range whilst taking advantage of their multi decade solera to build powerful, oxidative, saline and extremely complex Champagnes.
