Another fantastic Champagne from Famille Delouvin. Semper Fidelis is a blend of 50% Solera dating back to 1993 and 50% of the wine is produced from the current vintage each year. 100% Pinot Meunier too! Rich, salty, toasty and decadent. - Pete L
The Delouvin and Nowack families have been associated with Champagne for generations as grape growers back when the large house controlled the market and also as coopers producing barrels for the large houses. In the 1930s they began to estate bottle their wines and over the ages the estate has passed through the hands of many family members.
It's latest incarnation is under the control of Geoffrey Delouvin who has modernised the range whilst taking advantage of their multi decade solera to build powerful, oxidative, saline and extremely complex Champagnes.
