Tasting Notes
A bolder pinot than some in the Mornington today, from one of the early big names (15+ years ago) in the region. Think concentrated fruits, like cherry and black berries with a grippy savoury mouthfeel and supporting chalky tannin. Winemaking style helps achieve this with whole bunch fermentation and some new French oak (20% approx). 13.5% alc. For lovers of red meats and supporting fuller red wines. - Michael L
