Tasting Notes
Fermented in stainless steel and aged for over a year on fine lees, this wine is focused and energetic. Aromas of crushed lime and green herbs lead into a vibrant palate driven by citrus zest, white peach, and a touch of lemongrass. A sleek line of acidity provides definition, while subtle lees ageing brings a fine, chalk-dusted texture. Clean, vivid, and finely tuned, this wine offers both clarity and quiet complexity, finishing dry and mineral. Producer notes.
We are Chris Dilworth and Loique Allain, focusing on making wines from the bourgeoning region of the Macedon Ranges and surrounds. Over the years we have been working and travelling together, pursuing an opportunity to create our winemaking dream. We are both inspired and excited about the art of fermentation and its rich history throughout different cultures. Our lived travelling experiences both in Australia and Europe has been formative to the way we live our lives and make our wines. - Winery Note
