Tasting Notes
A very dangerous Rum for me to have at home! The Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva is a molasses based rum distilled in Venezuela and aged in barrel for 12 years on average. This is a fantastic entry point into the world of aged Carribean rums and the variety of delights that are on offer from this region. For me, this was the gateway rum that solidified my love and curiousity for Carribean rums and I've been hooked since.
Copper, golden, almost maple syrup like in the glass. Rich and decadent, full of caramel, vanilla, fudge, raisins and maple syrup. A very long and balanced Rum that punches well above it's price point. - Pete L
