Tasting Notes
Winemaker Alain Coudert set out to make the anti-nouveau Beaujolais, a wine that showcases just how complex, structured and ageworthy Gamay can be. Another very unique expression of Beaujolais from a perfect vintage. Concentrated aromas on both the nose and palate, black cherries, pomegranate, graphite and a hint a lavender. Chewy and dense but very well-balanced, beautiful now though will benefit from 3 to 5 years in the cellar. - Gaby F
