Tasting Notes

This pure Cinsault takes its name from an old vineyard set in the high Minervois, on rocky, marl, and limestone soils, roughly 12 kilometres uphill (at 450m a.s.l) from the winery. Braced by the chilly Les Ceres breezes running off La Montagne Noir, this is a very cool, stony vineyard where Claux's 70-year old Cinsault vines yield a paltry 20hl/ha. - Importer Note
