Domaine de la Madone's Fleurie Vieilles Vignes Rouge is a vibrant, concentrated, and age-worthy expression of Gamay, sourced from some of the estate's oldest vines. The Despres family cultivates their vineyards on the renowned Madone hillside, where the vines benefit from exceptional sun exposure and the classic pink granite soils of the Fleurie cru. These sixty to eighty-year-old, goblet-trained vines, combined with traditional winemaking techniques, yield a wine with notable depth and complexity. - Chris L
