Tasting Notes
This Bourgogne Rouge is crafted from two specific lieux-dits, Pressonnier and Grand Champs, which comprise roughly 0.5 hectares of limestone and clay soils. The grapes are 100% destemmed and the wine is aged in 20% new oak for up to 18 months. Red strawberry, cranberry, coffee grounds and mushroom are the first impressions on the nose after an hour in the decanter. With some more time this settled on ripe red plums, rosemary and vanilla. Juicy acidity and soft tannins make this an approachable Bourgogne rouge. - Aaron C
