Tasting Notes
The Charmes Chambertin is the estate's flagship, this wine comes from two central plots in Aux Charmes featuring vines planted between 1907 and 1917. The production involves 35% to 50% new oak, typically using Allier oak barrels to support its monumental structure. It is an explosive and majestic wine with a nose of ripe red berries and deep minerals, unfolding into a powerful yet perfectly balanced palate with incredible intensity and a persistent, silky finish. - Chris L
