A Loire red with that beautiful classic Cab Franc structure - ripe fine chalky tannins don’t come much better than; so subtle in the mouth. And built around ripe dark fruits, this is so drinkable (not heavy) with a meal - protein and salad or vegies make an easy match for me. - Michael L

A blend of parcels farmed by Domaine des Closiers with an average vine age of 30 years across the plots. The wine is handled in a very hands-off manner by the team, including Nady Foucault of Clos Rougeard fame. He was brought on to guide the production of the wines, exciting. This wine exhibits everything you want from Saumur Rouge... Collier and Guiberteau fans need to try this. Lot's to explore with his Domaine. - Pete L
