Tasting Notes
Opening with juicy primary berry fruits and florals (like lilac and violets); with a little more exposure to air you get a more savoury mouthfeel, including fine chalky tannins. No surprise given the blend is from more elegant grape varieties native to the middle areas of Loire - cabernet franc, gamay and grolleau. They are true-to-form here, mid-weight, fine tannin and acidity, savoury edge. 12.5% alc. - Michael L
