Tasting Notes
A lovely southern French white, 100% Roussanne grown on red clay and limestone soils out among the garrigue and pine. It's farmed beautifully too, certified organic since 2011 and worked with agroforestry, hedges, trees and nest boxes planted through the vines to bring back a bit of biodiversity. Hand-picked and raised on fine lees in seasoned Burgundy barrels, it's golden in the glass with a gorgeous nose of white peach, apricot and grapefruit with a buttery richness. The palate is supple and fresh, all citrus and stone fruit with a honeyed edge. Brilliant as an aperitif or with fish. - Pete L
