Tasting Notes
A classic Bourgueil from Pierre and Rodolphe Gauthier, made from Cabernet Franc drawn from twenty different lieux-dits across the domaine. There’s plenty of dark cherry, blackberry and cassis here, with a little earthiness and that lovely leafy, savoury character of Cabernet Franc. The palate has good depth but remains fresh and energetic, with fine tannins and a long, savoury finish. Proper Loire Cabernet Franc with plenty of character and great value for money. - Chris L
