Tasting Notes
There's a lot of wine in this bottle. This is a surprisingly rich and generous Bourgogne Rouge, with considerably more weight than you might expect at this level. There’s ripe cherry and raspberry, darker fruits and spice, with some earthy, savoury notes underneath. The palate has good concentration and flesh, but there’s still plenty of freshness and fine tannin keeping everything in shape. Generous, supple and immediately appealing - a Bourgogne Rouge that punches well above its classification. - Chris L
