Tasting Notes
Sourced from the En Champs lieu-dit located just below the Premier Cru Champeaux. This wine is a masterclass in aromatic purity and mineral tension. On the nose, it offers a vibrant bouquet of wild strawberries, red currants, and pressed violets, underpinned by a distinct stony character reflective of the vineyard’s proximity to the Combe de Lavaux. The palate is exceptionally precise, balancing succulent red fruit with a cool, energetic acidity and ultra-fine tannins that create a silky, weightless mouthfeel. Eschewing heavy oak, this cuvée captures the quintessential mineral crunch of northern Gevrey, finishing with a long, saline, and floral persistence. - Chris L
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has always cultivated the vineyards with the greatest respect for its terroirs in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Its goal is to propose the very best wines that Burgundy can offer. They characterize high quality and unique diversity. Each bottle of Grand Cru or Premier Cru is the faithful reflection of these values. - Winery Note
