Tasting Notes
Clos des Myglands is Faiveley’s monopole premier cru in Mercurey, a walled vineyard on brown clay-limestone soils that naturally yield wines of depth and structure. From mature Pinot Noir vines, the wine opens with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and violet, touched by subtle spice and earth. The palate is generous yet finely balanced, with supple fruit framed by firm tannins and a mineral thread that carries through the finish. It is a benchmark expression of Mercurey—both approachable in youth and capable of rewarding cellaring. - Chris L
