Gamay from 70 year old vines grown on clay and limestone. 15 days cold carbonic maceration, then aged in concrete tanks for 6 months. 10ppm SO2 before bottling.
Rose red colour, leaning towards the lighter side of the spectrum. Clean nose, lovely and fragrant. Fruity, with red berries and a touch of spice. Hint of savoury as well. To taste – sweet fruit, juicy and linear. Easy glou glou. Clean and refreshing, light and bright. Flavourful with medium plus acidity that is gently tart. Just enough carbo to lift it without being candied. Decent tension considering as well. Such skill to be able to produce so many high quality, consistent wines at affordable prices. - Importer Note
