Domaine Tourbillon is a modern, quality-focused family estate based in Lagorce, working across key appellations of the southern Rhône, particularly Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, and Côtes du Rhône Villages. Founded by Damiens Tourbillon, whose family has long cultivated vineyards in the region, the domaine brings together deep local knowledge with a contemporary, precise approach to both viticulture and winemaking.

The estate farms a mosaic of vineyard parcels on classic Rhône terroirs—rolled river stones, sandy soils, clay-limestone, and terraces of red and yellow clay—each contributing different layers of fruit, spice and structure. Old-vine Grenache forms the backbone of the reds, supported by Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault, while whites focus on Clairette, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc. Farming is conducted with sustainability in mind, prioritising soil health, canopy balance and minimal chemical intervention.

In the cellar, Tourbillon works with a blend of tradition and modernity: hand-harvesting, gentle extraction, temperature-controlled fermentations and maturation in a mix of concrete, stainless steel and older French oak. The goal is purity and finesse rather than weight, allowing the natural generosity of the southern Rhône to show with clarity and balance.
