Intriguing grape type - Colombard, known for its reserved melon or guava smells & tastes and good acidity; this one from Gascoyne, France is grown biodynamically and made in a natural style. Loved the result with plenty of fresh mouth-filling body and acid, forestry bush feel and nice oxidative notes as it opens. The producer thought of acacia shrubs tastes. Goes really well with fish, white meats or pasta. 13% alc. - Michael L
