Tasting Notes
A select blend of the best fruit from the best clones on David Lloyd's 3 hectare vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula. This wine sings with a little time in bottle and is the most layered and complex of all his Pinto Noir. Usually only 1 or 2 barrels made each year. This is not a wine to miss for all you Pinophiles. - Chris L

I've had a long standing relationship with David Lloyd at Eldridge Estate. He's been a great winemaking mentor to me. I've learnt so many technical and scientific aspects of wine from him, but i guess that's what you'd come to expect from an ex-science teacher. I've done a string of vintages with him at his estate and he was also critical in the launch of my first vintage of CLO. He's a clever winemaker with a interesting sense of humour and I believe this transcends into his wines.Eldridge Estate is a just over 3 hectares, which produces about 18t of grapes each year. This is micro, or better yet, nano wine production. So detailed and impressive. - Chris L
