Tasting Notes
This is ripe and intense Barbera. A serious expression of the variety that leaves nothing but incredible flavour behind. 10-40 year old vines planted on a combination of calcare and sand. I wish all Barbera was taken this seriously and produced with this much respect. Put down in the cellar or give it plenty of time to open - day 3 was best for me. A serious dark fruited and young Barbera with chalky tannin grip, plus some oak and alcohol bite. One for lovers of serious reds and the desire to leave it in the cellar for couple of years. Wait for the rewards! - Michael L
