Tasting Notes

First vintage of Cannubi for us was 2011. After years and years of research we were lucky enough to have access to a small plot of a quarter of a hectare/2.500 m. Cannubi is the most emblematic single vineyards of the Barolo region, historically probably the oldest ever known, mentioned in some documents from the 1600’s. 2016 has richness but still an elegant texture, with cherry menthol and liquorice. - Silvia Altare
