Tasting Notes
A phenominal wine that makes all the rules. Elio Sandri harvests this fruit from an south-east facing, loamy sandstone vineyard planted in 1937 at 300 meters elevation. The wine is fermented naturally and aged for a massive 6 years in large format Slovonian oak before being bottled unfoltered and unfined. The resulting wine is magnificent and wont break the bank compared to other Barolo. - Chris L
