Tasting Notes
This Felton Road Block 6 is a powerful, more "outgoing" expression of the estate, benefitting from the warmth of a steeper, north-facing slope. It’s a dense and layered wine with plenty of girth, showcasing exuberant peach and nectarine flavours typical of the Mendoza clone. While it carries more weight and "plumpness" than the laser-focused Block 2, it’s far from heavy—there’s a beautiful pulse of natural acidity and a clean, saline edge that keeps everything tight and resolved. Expect secondary notes of fresh brioche, hazelnut, and a hint of flinty minerality on a finish that just keeps reverberating. An exotic, sophisticated Chardonnay that is already feeling incredibly cohesive. - Chris L
