Tasting Notes
Felton Road MacMuir Pinot Noir reveals a deep ruby color with fragrant red and dark berry aromas—morello cherry, plum and wild raspberry—woven with hints of violet, forest floor, toasted spice and a touch of earth. The palate is richly layered yet finely tuned: plush fruit flows into a texture that’s juicy and powerful, buoyed by bright acidity and firm, powdery tannins, finishing long and resonant, with subtle oak framing and an undercurrent of minerality. It’s a wine with both presence and finesse—thrilling now and built to reward cellaring. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
