Tasting Notes
This is Albarino at its most serious, a single vineyard packed with decomposed soils in Salnés, Rías Baixas. It's all lemon and quince with a waft of smoke and a distinctly salty, minerally edge, then a palate that's both austere and voluminous, incisive and saline, with a creamy mid palate giving way to a nervy, textural finish. Medium to full bodied with real freshness driving it. Pretty confident in saying it's the best Albarino I've tried. Lovely now but built to age. - Pete L
