Tasting Notes
I tried this with the winemaker and this was my pick of the new releases. Ripe red fruited, juicy with this hint of roast coffee beans and mocha. Serious enough to have with a good meal yet versatile enough to spend some time in the fridge too for a bit more of a fun vibe. - Pete L
I enjoyed the dark red fruit and coffee notes of this Australian Barbera; much like the style of a quality barbera of Piedmont. It does first need a good decant though. Definately a wine to enjoy with red meats and charcuterie. Michael L
Freddie Stevenson sources biodynamic fruit from regions around South Australia. Everything is small batch here, and minimal intervention is a must. The wines are fun and lively in the glass and speak of the regions in which they come. Never overblown or overdone.
