Tasting Notes
A slightly more restrained colour due to the season and slightly earlier picking of the Grenache. The 2022 has a very similar flavour spectrum to years previous, with rose petal, Turkish delight, red skin apples, raspberries, hibiscus tea and lemon peel over the nose and mouth. Like the Pinata, this year has a touch more of a mouth- watering feel to it – again perhaps the season, perhaps the increase in Grenache or the slightly earlier Grenache picking – or all of the above. -Winemaker, Steve Crawford
Freddie Stevenson sources biodynamic fruit from regions around South Australia. Everything is small batch here, and minimal intervention is a must. The wines are fun and lively in the glass and speak of the regions in which they come. Never overblown or overdone.
