Tasting Notes
Orange is one of the highest-altitude wine regions in Australia. This means that the grapes grown here retain higher levels of acidity, while achieving good ripeness. This Sauvignon Blanc from Gilbert Wines has classic varietal grassiness, with underlying citrus notes and a subtle vegetal hint. Plenty of refreshing citrus on the palate and a soft mouth feel, finishing with a lovely, crisp acidity. Perfect paired with freshly shucked oysters. - Felix G
