Another great example of an Italian variety finding a home in Heathcote. There’s plenty of ripe cherry and red plum, with dried herbs, spice and a lovely earthy, savoury character underneath. It’s medium-bodied and juicy, but with the acidity and fine, dusty tannins that make Sangiovese such a great food wine. Generous enough to feel distinctly Heathcote, while still retaining plenty of freshness and energy. - Chris L

With beautifully crafted labels by Adriana Picker—born of local landscapes—the Garden of Earthly Delights range represents Syrahmi’s small-batch expressions, spotlighting terroirs beyond their Heathcote roots, including Macedon Ranges and Tooborac.
