Vineyard: Udy’s Road, Piccadilly (Estate) Planted 1983. Variety: Chardonnay. Clone: i10v1. Elevation: 520m Aspect: West. Soils: Light loamy clay over sandstone with extensive schist and quartz rock. Farming: Biodynamic. Production: 100 dozen. Vinification: 100% whole bunch pressing to tank for settling overnight before racking off solids to barrel. The wine spent 11 months in a French oak, 25% new. Full malolactic fermentation. Bottled under natural cork sealed with wax. - Gareth Belton
