Tasting Notes

Every year this is one of the great wines of Beaujolais by all measures - from 2020 the first hint at quality is, as usual, the vibrant colour you can see literally the richness and depth, then the billowing perfume. Georges produced superb 2020 wines, none of the heaviness found in some of the wines of his peers, his are very fresh - aromas are bright and crystal clear with entrancing aromas of red/black cherries and hints of sweet kirsch. The taste is energetic, fresh and focused, with  juicy fruit, fresh acidity and a firm mineral grip. To me, this is perfect Cru Beaujolais from a master - a bargain for what it is. - Importer Note
