The Champagne of Georges Laval is a wine to be revered. The 2.5 hectare vineyard planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier is organically farmed by the family to produce wines of place, that place being Cumieres. The Champagne is usually zero dosage (no sugar added) and built around ripeness and depth with a unique complexity and depth. One of a kind. - Chris L
A red fruit food fight in a pastry shop. This Champagne has a stunningly unique nose of bruised apple, strawberry, a touch of raspberry, salted bagels, pecan and some subtle spices. Extremely fine bubbles give way to a smooth, rough texture uplifted with lively acid. A fantastic Champagne. - Aaron C.
