Unbelieveably good value for aged Chardonnay. From one of Sunbury’s historic wine estates, the Chairman’s Reserve is a more serious, traditional expression of Chardonnay. There’s plenty of ripe stone fruit and citrus, with some creamy, nutty complexity and well-judged oak giving the palate weight and texture. It’s rich without feeling heavy, with fresh acidity running through the wine and keeping everything nicely balanced. A generous, old-school style of Victorian Chardonnay that has plenty of character. - Chris L
