The light golden honeyed tone in the glass, is a good indicator that this Pinot Gris is the real deal. Lusciously perfumed, crushed dried floral spicy aromatics interplay with layers of exotic fruits, guava, custard apple, nashi pear & lychee. The generous fruit profile continues, as the wine builds intensity in the mid palate with a visceral waxy lanolin like texture. Just when you think it's going to become broad and flabby, the finish tightens up with a slightly prickly acidity, which lingers for a surprisingly long time. This is very well made wine, showing perfect typicity, texture and depth. Exceptional value in the growing world of Gris. - Brendon F
