Tasting Notes
A tasty modern take on Australian Grenache. Delicate, light red fruits with a floral undertone of rose and violet on the nose which all come through on the palate as well. A Grenache for Pinot-lovers or for those that don't care for the high alcohol typically associated with Australian Grenache with this checking in at just 12.9% ABV. A pretty and ethereal wine that can be drunk now or easily cruise in the cellar. - Aaron C.
Introducing Gullyview Estate. This is the new project from Jono, formerly working with his brother Damon Koerner at Koerner Wines (whose wine we also love and stock as well) and his partner Megan Jenkins. Now focusing on his own project with heaps of experience under his belt, he has been able to produce some amazing wines at a fantastic price point.
Based in southern Clare Valley, these vineyards are located between an altitude of 350m-450m above sea level on Terra Rossa, red clay over limestone soils. The climate and nature of this site allows Jono to create wines with crisp acidity and elegance.
