Tasting Notes
One of my favourite Herzog wines! Many vintages of the Montepulciano have been juicy and supple and rounded... and desirable. This is also desirable but a much more serious expression of the variety. It's one for the cellar and one to be enjoyed with food. It shows a nice line and a tight body with more focus on acidity, tannin and structure rather than fruitiness, alcohol and softness. It'll be better for it in the long run. - Chris L
