Tasting Notes
Quintessential Chianti Classico. Red and black cherries, red plum, earth, dried rosemary, violet, lavender and some cured meats come out with a bit more air. Bright, vibrant acidity with well-integrated fine tannins on the palate. Beautiful stuff. - Aaron C.
A small Chianti house with a reputation for producing some of the purest, most classical wines in the region. The owner and winemaker, Paolo de Marchi has been described as almost maniacal in his attention to detail in both his vineyards and his wine production. Isole also produce their own 'Super Tuscan' called Cepparello which is usually 100% Sangiovese. This is regularly spoken about as one of Tuscany's finest and most elegant wines. - Importer Note
