Normally a big style red varietal, the Izway is made with a soft touch! Aglianico, a black grape originating from the warmer southern regions of Italy, can be confronting. Not this one, with a feel of darker red fruits, fine mouth-coating tannins, acidity and restrained alcohol (13.7%). Loves a casserole or barbecued meat. - Michael L
