Tasting Notes
This domaine dates back to the 17th century with its most recent owner (Jean-Max Roger) inheriting the estate in 1970. His sons now run the winery and continue the family legacy. This wine comes from ancestral plots planted in marl and calcareous soils which help to produce a blend of power and elegance. An explosion of citrus as the wine opens up. A gorgeous wine that loves a bit of air so please do decant. - Pete L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
