Tasting Notes
Whilst the old wines below are fascinating and complex, the truth is that this wine is our pick of the lot and is just drinking brilliantly at five years of age. As you might expect from the oldest, low yielding vines of this great estate, this is a Muscadet at its most confident and expressive. Intense, smoky, iodine-rich characters on the nose lead to a pulpy, smooth texture, shot through with citrus pith, crushed herbs and an almond meal complexity; all supported by vibrant, powdery, saline freshness. A stunning Muscadet. If you haven't tried this wine, you must! It is a wonderful bargain form one of the Loire's finest growers. - Importer Note
