Jose Gil is forging a new pathway for Rioja. It's about vineyard site and fruit expression, rather than power and winemaking artefact. This Rioja is all about finesse. A Tempranillo dominant blend, with a bit of Grenache, that is fine and tempered, slightly floral and ethereal. A beautiful wine and one to watch. - Chris L
